All of our adoptable pets are housed with foster families. They have been spay/neutered, micro chipped and crate trained. They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.
Graycee is a beautiful dog with a gorgeous dark brindle coat. One of her three puppies looks very similar. She was a stray that picked a good place to have her puppies as they have rescued her and are trying to help her and her babies find a forever home. Graycee is a bit standoffish until she knows you and then she is fine. She is an excellent guard dog. Graycee and her pups are a courtesy listing. The DHS organized in November 2008 to care for the unwanted and neglected animals of Northeastern Louisiana. We are funded only by donations. We ARE making a difference but we still have a LOT to do....
