All of our adoptable pets are housed with foster families. They have been spay/neutered, micro chipped and crate trained. They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.
Fluffy is playful and full of energy. She is bright and learns quickly. She gets along well with people and most pets once she has a chance to get to know you. She is an athletic young dog and would make a wonderful, loving companion for an active person.

Special Needs: Fluffy will need a lot of individual attention if she is to be the only pet. She is used to having lots of playmates.
The DHS organized in November 2008 to care for the unwanted and neglected animals of Northeastern Louisiana. We are funded only by donations. We ARE making a difference but we still have a LOT to do....
