Claire wandered up to a home outside of Rayville, La.  She was underweight, and covered in ticks, but in good spirits and happy. Since being in foster care, she has been spayed & tested for heartworms...she was negative!!  This is a young, energetic little girl who loves the finer things in life.  A fenced yard is a must since Claire's energy requirements could not be met by a simple daily walk.  Her foster home has a big dog that she loves to play with, as she prefers to have a doggy companion.  Clair is not good with cats, as she believes them to be something perpetually chased.  She loves to play with toys or will sit quietly with you while you watch TV.  Claire is a real snuggle-bunny.  She wants a soft blanket and the person she loves close by.  She rides well in the car and is crate trained.  She walks on a leash and knows simple commands, such as sit, down and speak! 
This little dog is precious...won't you give her a good home??
