All of our adoptable pets are housed with foster families. They have been spay/neutered, micro chipped and crate trained. They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.
Nellie was turned in from West Carroll parish. Like us, they have no shelter. Nellie had been dumped off on a country road. She found her way to the nearest house and they cared for her until they could contact us. Just days after we got her, she had 6 puppies. She was a wonderful mama but her babies have good homes now, and it is Nellie's turn to find a loving secure home for the very first time. She is a sweet gentle dog who only wants to please. She is so happy when she gets attention that she practically does flips. She is a good watch dog too but wouldn't hurt a flea.....well maybe a flea.
