All of our adoptable pets are housed with foster families. They have been spay/neutered, micro chipped and crate trained. They have all been living in a family environment so have been evaluated for temperament and personality. We believe that we should know each pet well enough to make sure that when adopted, everyone lives happily ever after.
One of our volunteers spotted Grizz aka Trucker between the wheels of an 18 wheeler parked on the side of the interstate. We searched, but no littermates were found. He was healthy and well fed. The trucker knew nothing. He was tiny at the time. If only they could talk.... Grizz is in a home he shares with 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 6 parrots. He loves everyone he meets. He is well behaved inside and has even learned some basic commands. He rides well in the car, comes when called, and is an excellent swimmer.(matter of fact..he LOVES water, even from the hose). He is energetic, happy and as mischevious as a dog can be!! He is a pleasure! Due to his really high energy requirements, a large fenced yard, and a dog to play with, would probably be best. Playing with children could also help him burn off energy. So if you want a happy, high-energy, water-loving dynamo....give Grizz a shot!
